I really want steem to be good, but it just sucks;)

Also, I never find anything. For example, right now, there's a major event in Florida on the news, but if I search for #florida on Steem, there's nothing, nada, zip

Also, it doesn't have groups you can subscribe to like reddit. I don't understand how I can use it for anything if I can't find anything? How do people use Steem?
