It took me a week until I could finally print out this Steemit chocolate box. I needed to order brown fillament and magnets for the box. I also really wanted to make Steemit chocolate. So, I was checking online what I needed. A mould, chocolate fondue and ofcourse chocolate.
image
First I made the chocolate samples:

I ordered silicone by SilliCreations. It is actually not meant for chocolate, but I wanted to give it a try anyway.
image
Mixing the two components.
image
Covering the chocolate samples with silicone and leave it for 3 hours.
image
After 3 hours, they look like this. Not perfect, but the heart shaped one looks the best.
image
Now I'm ready to make Steemit chocolate! I melted a chocolate bar first using this chocolate fondue.
image
I added pieces of caramel fudge.
image
I was happy to see the result. But after the first round, the chocolate did not look good as the chocolate of the first round.

Below the tutorial of the Steemit chocolate box.
First, the lower part:

Second, the upper part:

Printing time of the chocolate box and chocolate samples were in total: 7.5 hours!!! Moreover, it failed couple of times during printing. You can imagine how frustrated I was! :-).

Hehe. That's what I was guessing.
You are very welcome @fathin-shihab :-)

HAHA. What a lovely post! Nice idea. Excellent tutorial.
If you ever get the need to produce chocolate or other molded stuff at highest resolution, try sending the master files to a print service and do them in SLA or some other resin. Or the next step up from a FDM printer at home is a Formlabs or any of the Chinese copies of it at lower rates.

Thanks for the tip!

Nice work tasty chocolate hmmm yummyyy

Thank you @mady27. It tasted good. I wish I could include the taste in this post :-)

Soy tu tio

Thanks @tioluis! Happy you like it! Have a

Very creative and nice design ! I Wouldn't mind some of that chocolate with my morning coffee

Thanks! That would be a good match indeed. Great idea! I should have put a cup of coffee next to the steemit chocolate!

Great work.

Thank you @florinmanica

looks great! I like to make my own chocolate with raw coconut oil and cacao <3 but it's not so beautiful ;)

Do you have no doubt about the plasticizer in the plastics?

Thanks @mimmy. To be honest, i was never into making chocolate, because there is a tempering process you need to go through to make sure chocolate doesn't look white when its drying. Very complicated to me :-)
The mould I used is made of silicone, not plastic. And as far as i know its safe. I mean, nothing in life is 100% safe :-). But it also says it is meant for fondant, clay, not really for chocolate. As i said in my post, the first round went very well. The second less good. If your chocolate tastes good, then it doesnt matter how it looks like :-).

well done, hey how about you start selling your steemit chocolates on steemit? create a market, receive steemit as payment and deliver. you can start in your country.

Thanks @brianadams. Your idea is very good and nice of you :-). But as a mother of 2, i don't think i am able to do that as well as being active on Steemit. :-). Designing and printing in 3D takes already many hours.... but maybe in the nearest future :-).

Great. Thank you for shearing this.

Nice work

Thanks @oddi18

Cool hearts! I love chocolate! thanks for sharing it!

Thanks @nikitinskiy. You're welcome

Wonderful job! :) @fathin-shihab

Wow, what a cool idea! And it looks like you've put a lot of time and effort to make the steemit shapes, congratulations for the delicious and beautiful results! I'd love to have some Steemit chocolate ;)

Thanks @raluca. It is indeed true, I put a lot of effort and time making the chocolate and chocolate box. It took me many hours to design and redesign the chocolate box.
I wish you could just grab it from my post :-).

WOW! you are chocolate maker? kidding i love you chocolate design i would like to taste it can you please send it me :D, @fathin-shihab i thought it is difficult to make chocolate but your article help me to understand the procedure specially about design thanks keep sharing such type of informative content :)

Thanks @beretc
I am not a chocolate expert at all :-). This is also my first try out with chocolate. I think making professional chocolate is difficult because you need to temper the chocolate.

but passion is a key and i think if you are passionate for any work then you are expert in it :), and they way you did this you really impressed me :)

Thanks for your kind words! :-) I indeed made them with passion

hope to see more some good stuff :)

welcome :)

Just wow! This is amazing @fathin-shihab! I'm sure they taste great too!

Thanks @amy-goodrich. They taste very good because I used pure chocolate ( 63%) . I also added caramel fudge so it has a nice combination.

Great idea, great work! Coming from a family of chocolate producers I have great memories making Almond mountains with bitter chocolate during school holidays. Hope I can share this info somehow.

Thanks! Wow, thats cool! So u are surrounded by chocolate! :-). I would like to see a post about your chocolate soon! ;-).

I love it @fathin-shihab!! So much that I included it in my Steemian Artist section of my business-y/cryptocurrency trading posts here! Feel free to re-steem, comment, or upvote!
In fact, if you do - I will continue including your artwork in my posts as time passes d[^_^]b STEEMon!

looks so delicious.. I love chocolate

Thanks @rebeccabe. They also taste good. I love chocolate very much too! But today I cannot see any chocolate :-)

Blah Blah Blah, just send me the damn chocolates!

I am resteeming this for my husband he makes moulds (but wood is his thing.) I know not the same but he would appreciate this. You are very talented!

Thanks @sarahewaring. I would like to see his wooden moulds :-).

Can I order a box, if so, from where?

The chocolate or the box? The box takes hours to print. For the chocolate, I have to buy professional silicone to make a proper chocolate mould. I am willing to do the chocolate only, if you have time? Because ordering the silicone can take a few days. But there is 1 thing you have to keep in mind, the chocolate will not look as smooth as in the shops. It will look like how I made them :-). What we also can do, that I make the chocolate mould and if you want, you can buy the chocolate mould and you make the chocolate yourself :-).

If you want the chocolate to look professional smooth, i have to do it as what @lazzelazer said in his comment above. That will also take time.

Let me know what your decision will be :-). I live in the netherlands by the way! :-)

welcome Dear

Really nice work! I wished I had a 3D printer...

Thanks @colleabois. My 3D printer was my husband's first 3D printer, he bought this saving few hundreds of euros by building it himself from a kit. You can do that too, or buy second hand. Mine is also second hand :-)

Chocolate is love. Love is chocolate , yummy!

You're absolutely right! How will our life look like without chocolate?

They are super cool designs of steemit in chocolate, very good. Chocolate that delights, I love chocolate and steemit is the best. I give you a vote but you give me a chocolate of that !!!! ;)

Thanks @jfernandez. You can grab it from the screen :-)

jejejejeejejeje My screen is old, do not let me grab it !!!!

Hahaha! Just visualize then :-)

Wow thats amazing, that 3d printer looks expensive, very unique steemit chocolates!

Thanks @errymil. This printer is an old beginners printer which was first my husband's printer. He builded it himself from a kit so he saved a lot of money than when he would buy a ready 3d printer.

These look really delicious! Yummy!

Thanks @firepower :-)

WOW! Much respect for this work, you did it quite well. It was absolutely worth it)))

awesome! really good job

great piece of art your work is amazing thanks for sharing it !

Thank you @othmanesl! You're welcome!

Nice!

Thank you

This is a really cool example of how 3-D printing makes new stuff possible. I've never gotten to print out my own chocolate shapes, but that looks awesome. I can't wait until the printers are a little more affordable

You can do so many things with a 3d printer. I would like to see your chocolate shapes :-). You can try buying second hand or building a 3D printer from a kit yourself can save a lot of money. My 3D printer is second hand, i got it from my husband @tarekadam. He now has a new 3d printer but he also saved a lot of money by building it himself again from a kit. But when he used the old 3D printer which i have now, he bought it saving a lot of money by building it himself from a kit saving hundreds of euros.

Sweet, I had no idea it was possible to build a 3-D printer. I am definitely gonna look into that, maybe it will be possible sooner than I thought. Thanks for the tips.

This is gorgeous! Very well done! Love it <3

Thank you @bless :-)

Delicious. So much effort. Appreciated for sharing this long photo story. Like it. :-)

It was indeed lot effort making the chocolate and chocolate box :-). Thanks. Happy you like it!

Very cute

Thank you

Ah :)))) OK
