Excellent post! Steemit has the potential to finally be a platform to reward good content via community member input. You are correct that quality posts are not always recognized nor rewarded. Greed and absolute power can corrupt any system. We see this with governments across the globe. Spreading both power and wealth among all users in the Steemit system is imperative for its longevity. Otherwise, it will mainly consist of the powerful at the top and a constant turnover of newbies at the bottom that quickly quit when Steemit is perceived to be an unfair and broken system.
