Let's play shadows in the wardrobe grandma says the 3 year bubbling with excitement and energy? The stage of never forgetting!

The words toppled out of the overexcited 3 year old as he heads off at a fast speed toward the direction of the torches. Keep up I tell myself as he zooms toward the little walk in robe with the biggest torch clutched in his hand. it was a sure bet that the 3 year old would remember the fun shadow play a couple of weeks ago.

The 3 year old expertly makes Peter Rabbit ears, I am positive that I can see him accessing his memory banks.

A few minutes go, scuttling sounds, little taps taps are heard on the outside of the door. It slowly opens to behold the pleased 1 year old holding his little torch. I hear 'have fun' from their dad as the 3 year old loudly objects to the intrusion of his little brother. 'Nooo, I don't want him, it's MY game!'

Quick run Peter Rabbit Mr Fox is catching up to you, he wants rabbit stew for dinner. Quick Peter Rabbit run as fast as you can, Mr Fox can run fast too and he is very hungry.

The 3 year old gets lost in his imagination forgetting the 1 year old who sits on my lap shining his little torch on the clothes, the door and my blinking eyes. Then his torch finds the shadow wall..... 'take care of baby rabbit or Mr Fox will catch him.'

It was getting extra stuffy in the walk in robe but the 3 year old was still lost in his drama ......'Want an ice-cream?' comes dad's voice from afar. Game over, forgotten as the 3 year old ran to the kitchen. Saved by an ice-cream, phew! Who would have thought?

Cheers and Blessings

Thanks janton, the interesting thing is that he has not gone back to the walk in robe armed with the torch since. I am biding my time, lol.

That's so interesting angiemitchell! When they get older you can tell them how entertaining they were!
