I, as a language teacher myself, feel so identified with this article.
People tend to belive the education of our children relies exclusively on just either the kids' parents or their teachers. And we the results are not what expected, one party blames the other. More often than not have I seen a colleague trash talk a kid's home for their inefficiency to teach, and instead of trying to get involved to what's going on with their parents, they just don't care enough. The same happens with some parents as they just don't want anyone besides from them to get too directly involved in their children's education.
There must be collaboration among all who are involved in the development of a child. Just caring about their education is already enough at some point to make the difference.
Unfortunately many cases have arisen in this way, parents and teachers must work as a team, each one has a job to do, we are both responsible for the education of children.
