Hello Steemians,hope you all had a wonderful day? Mine was great and at the same time,stressful. I got back home to make this delicious soup called Waterleaf.
Waterleaf is a vegetable that is good for the health. I wrote about waterleaf three months ago. Here is the link so you can check the health benefits.
INGREDIENTS TO USE
- Waterleaf
- Palm oil
- Salt
- Maggi
- Pepper
- Locust beans
- Onions
- Water
- Fish(if desired)
These are some of my ingredients I used in cooking it
STEPS IN PREPARING
STEP 1: Wash the Waterleaf three times. This is my washed waterleaf
STEP 2: Place your pot on the stove/gas. Let it dry and then add palm oil to it. Let it get hot for 45 seconds,then add sliced onions and locust bean to it. This is my own added onions and locust bean inside the pot
STEP 3: Add the already grinded pepper to it. Put Maggi and Salt then stir together and leave for 10minutes.
STEP 4: Wash your fish and add to the stew,put a little water,Stir and cover for another 10minutes so that the fish can be soft.
STEP 5: Add your washed waterleaf and stir. Leave to steam for 5 minutes. Your Waterleaf soup is ready to be served with any food.
