Stevia was a discovery in the late 1800s it was known as Kaa-he (or sweet herb) it is mostly used for traditional medicine for treating burns, colic, stomach problems and sometimes as a contraceptive, some also chew it because of is own sweet taste. stevia is part of the present sugar substitutes in the market today because is high-purity steviol glycosides and safe for food.

Stevia has no calories and sweeter than sugar, stevia also treat the body from diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. stevia is very good for the human health because it helps I low sugar and too much of sugar can cause harm to the body.
