Since the revolution of internet has begun and it's globally exceptance increased the idea of social media has spread across the world. Web 2.0 based applications grown rapidly and provide a space where users can share their thoughts, ideas and other stuff on internet. Content created by the users , such as text, videos or interractive comments, digital photographs and any other information created through every single online connection, is the lifeblood of social media.

Many tech companies Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and WhatsApp etc. developed and built their centralised social media platforms for end users. As these are the centralised platform so these social media giants have full control on users personal data. We heard lots of stuff about selling of users data as per news floating on the internet alone Facebook sold its billions of users data to third parties. YouTube is also a biggest video sharing platform but you have not right to free speech if you do so you could be banned and also It is too difficult to monetize content on these centralised social media platforms.

After the innovation of blockchain technology, in 2016 Steem Blockchain came into existence which is social media based blockchain. Steem Blockchain gives a space where users have full control on their data and they are the owner of their dada. Steem Blockchain incentivise users efforts everyone can get paid for their contributions to the platform which is really amazing. Steem Blockchain is a social media based blockchain which gives us a space where we can share our thoughts, ideas and others stuff we like to share with people having full control on it we are the owner of our content.

Right to Free Speech:

On centralised social media platform you don't have right to free speech if you do so you may gat banned and kicked out from there platform but on Steem you have to freedom to speak you can share what you want and have full access on your account .

Incentives On Engagement:

Facebook is the biggest social media giant who have billions of users on board. The revenue of the company is billions of dollars but they don't share a single panne with its users. Steem has distributed billions of dollars to its users . A recent study shows Steem account holders have transferred over $300,000 to one Venezuelan exchange since it opened at the beginning of 2018.

This is one of the best reason why Steem is the pulse of social media. After HF 21&22 there are lots of Stuff changed. Lots of new changes are implemented and things are going well now . Bidbots abuse has decreased and the distribution of Rewards has also refined. The author and curator rewards are 50:50 so whales can start manual curation which helps to onboard quality author to the platform who can add value to the platform. All of them have freedom to speak here.

There are lots of projects developing on Steem Blockchain which gives authors to options to use platform according to there need. Steem Blockchain works as a powerhouse to these projects and give bade to their development.

As I have already discussed about potential of Steem Blockchain which can lead it to the success. It decentralised nature and insentives modal is really game changer in social media catogary. Now days user are fully aware about the hazards of selling data and freedom to speech so they are very conscious about this. As Steem have decentralised nature and have freedom to speak so it can be the first choice of users and can become a globally excepted decentralised social media giant.
