Steemworld My favorite STEEM tool

As long as you didn't vote my post, the popup will show up once at every start. It's my product and it's free. Instead of voting your own comment you could have supported my work ;)

Nothing is free. That popup steals valuable time and it's begging. If it would be free it wouldn't have e-beg popups. By using your service I support your work. What you should do is you can be more transparent with how much exactly you need. But nobody likes 1999 popups or cookie warning type messages

By using your service I support your work.

Please explain how you are supporting my work, when you are putting extra load on my servers? Hilarious.

By spending time on your stuff I support you since time is the most valuable thing in this existence. You are also entitled. Either take a cost for the service or do not. But 1999 popups do not belong in 2018

No, but really, "by using time on your stuff, I support you" isn't really a fact. Time spent on something usually indicates that a user will become a supporter, but the site doesn't benefit from you using it. Now, a case could be made that, if you promote to others that it's a great tool, you're supporting it, because somewhere down the line someone will recognize that he needs financial support. But just using the tool doesn't make you a supporter. When I donate blood, is the person who gets my blood a supporter? When the garbageman takes your trash, does that make you his supporter?

Here's another if. If his site had advertisements that paid him based on impressions, then just using the site would make you a supporter. But he doesn't. I think we're all too used to ad-supported content, that we've started to believe that just using something makes us a supporter.

It doesn't. An upvote costs so little. Just do it.

An upvote would promote more beggar habits. Ever gave a beggar money on the street? Do they stop being a beggar after that? Nope.

And you are wrong. Time is valuable. Using someones service is support. I have already told that he should make it transparent how much he needs. But he is not using transparency.

Ok. Ok.

Setting everything aside except your one claim that you're supporting him:

How does he benefit from your support? Time is valuable. Is he getting more time because you're using your time on his site?

Yes he is getting my human time on his project

Oh, you're one of the developers!
