Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
I was getting ready to move on to the next book but read some more of Isaiah and felt like I really could not pass up this most central Truth of the followers of Christ. His death and bodily resurrection from the grave. The Apostle Paul said
1Co 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1Co 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
1Co 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
1Co 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1Co 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

Jesus Christ
It was prophesied in Isaiah 10 that Christ would suffer, then die and afterwards raise from the dead. Note here in this verse from Leviticus that the life is in the blood. In our text He soul was offered for sin. He shed His blood for our sin. Only Jesus
(ASV) For the life of the flesh is in the blood.
Mat 28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
Mat 28:6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Mat 28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
As I said earlier, Jesus has risen from the dead. This is the central message of the followers of Christ throughout history and today. Our salvation and forgiveness of our sins come from faith that Jesus rose from the dead. Our hope for life after dying is based on the Ressurection of Jesus from the grave. Our hope foe our loved ones that have died before us is based in their faith as they walked this earth. Faith in His sinless life, substitutionary death and His bodily resurrection from the grave. Because He lives we also will live.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
