One such group of people are doing something called "phishing."
I'm going to keep this real simple for all our friends who are new in the community. I do not want to overwhelm them.

SIMPLY PUT...PHISHING MEANS SOMEONE IS TRYING TO TRICK YOU INTO GIVING YOUR INFORMATION TO THEM SO THEY CAN HURT YOU IN SOME WAY

Below are some tips to help you prevent being taken advantage of.
- Do not use your master password or owner or private keys to log into any sites. *INCLUDING YOUR STEEMIT ACCOUNT!
- Do not click on links in your comments or in your wallet unless you 100% trust that person. *They can lead to phishing links that can harm/steal or account or infect your computer.
- Never give your credentials (passwords, keys, or account information) to third party(external) websites unless you are 100% sure you can trust them.
IF YOU SUSPECT ANYTHING OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR FURTHER CONCERNS MY DEAR FRIENDS CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY AND WE WILL GET YOU ANY ASSISTANCE WE CAN.

Maybe you have a clue how to bypass the whims of D. Tube?)) Neither I nor my brother can download the video. An "Unknown error" comes out. Tags are only in lowercase, short, in English. One time there was a problem, but periodically, and now any video refuses to publish.

It has been a minute since I published anything on YouTube. But I am really sure unless something's changed that your tags need to look like this.
photography, dogs, cats, kids
All lower case
Either 4 or 5 tags maximum (I think it's 5 but I'm not sure)
And as it is above it has to be "your tag and the a comma and then a space. Then your next tag then a comma tnen a space.(I know I had problems remembering to do it this way and I got errors too.)

Is the video you're trying to upload bigger than 20 MB? I look at your bandwidth allocation and it set at 20 MB. I don't know if that could be causing the problem or not.

Okay. Then this is probably not the problem. I am just trying to troubleshoot. The bandwidth is based on your reputation and it gets bigger as you are here longer. I will try to find more information for you. Can you send a screenshot or the error you are receiving?

Isn't that the truth. Of course I have been hurt more than a few times by my own family and some pretty severe ways. So I'm always leery of going new places on the internet anyway. And I also know that when something sounds too good to be true... Well it normally is. When somebody offers you something for nothing you should always proceed with caution. After learning that this was going on, which I just did, my first thought was,"How horrible would it be if one of my friends became a victim and I hadn't done anything to make them aware?"how guilty would I feel? It would have bothered me so bad.

That too. Good thing you have come across this warning as early as now. Whatever we do online we should be careful. We should be made aware of these things and be on guard and thus do something about keeping our accounts safe. Sometimes the only action we are in control are our own. We may have informed our friends but then human nature as it is there will always be those who will fail because of reasons we may not know.

If we are to police ourselves as a community, then we need to police ourselves as a community. That means we have to protect people who may not know that there are dangers out there and educate them about those dangers. Yeah it seems like anybody who's been around for a minute has either had it happen to them or know somebody who has had it happen. I know that there may be other people that you should do things about it or maybe people who would be able to do more. But I feel like I need to do my part.
