Studies show us, what should our children eat to have a higher IQ?

We are in an age where fast food is the easiest thing we feed our children,
But what gives our children really what they need? What increases their IQ? What makes them healthier? More relaxed? Sleeping better ..

They discovered that children eat fish, among others.
Had a higher IQ on average 5 than children who did not eat fish at their meals.
Not only from higher IQ, but also from better sleep and better sex with the partner

During the study of more than 500 children who combined fish at their meals and 500 children who did not combine fish at their meals, it was found that children who eat fish are even more sociable!

Does anyone have an idea why?

The children who did not mix fish at their meals seemed tired and more nervous.
I know that some of the people who read the post are vegan or vegetarian, but that interests me if we were not meant to eat the meat of a fish or a cow. Why does it affect children so well?

Truth be told, everything is typical nourishment for youngsters, vegetables, fruits,meats and other fundamental sustenance, which can build up their physical and passionate prosperity.

Be careful with the fish oil capsules you buy. Try putting them in the freezer overnight, if its clear they are good quality, if they are foggy its no good.
Usually the fish oils that are individually packed in those sheets, like chewing gum, are higher quality. Everyone who makes the switch from cheap fish oil to the higher quality ones truly feel all the benefits that come with taking the Omega 3s.

Also look into intermittent fasting and long term fasting for some added benefits :)

@amiramnoam I definitely know what they should never eat! Gluten! Gluten prevents brain neurons from growing further. Fluoride does the same, and even though we do not consciously eat it, we definitely take small quantities in our system by using toothpastes.

Fish is one of the chief source of protein in children.you know that chirdren need more protein than adult because they are in the stage of body building process.that is the stage where brain and other body tissue develop.so ,if i am to say children that eat fish will dedinately will perform well more than others that is lacking fish in their meal because protein help to build tissue .thanks for sharing this informative post.

Thanks @amiramnoam, for sharing. I agree with you fish is one of the richest source of protein from animals and from the part of the world where I come from (Nigeria), it is fairly affordable. Where it isn't, cray fish is used to prepare the food. I also advice that children also be fed with food containing vitamin A for better eye sight.

I agree too and believe that Omega 3 is the main issue for the higher IQ findings. However we should be careful about rich fish regime. Fish could be high in omega-3s, but also with high content of low in environmental contaminants. Contaminants such as PCBs and Mercury which accumulate in fish oil just as they do in fish.
These compounds could be very harmful for specific populations like kids and eldery people.
So it is imortant to choose the right sources of fish like wild salmon from Alaska and atlantic mackerel...

So I will add an important detail:fish contain the metal mercury, which is harmful and can't be removed from the body, specifically from the brain - BUT, researchers found that the levels of mercury from eating fish are not harmful and the benefits of eating fish are much greater than the dangers.
Now - regarding altzeimer disease - they found that eating fish when you have a specific genetic marker that is a risk factor for that disease decreases the advancment of the disease, but interestingly fish oil sold in drug store wasn't effective.
So eat fresh fish and no supplements!

Plant based all the way! Veggies and fruits contain essential micronutrients to help us grow and be strong! Haha wow I wish I knew how to eat when I was a kid. I only ate veggies when I had to, and would often bring a lunch to school that consisted of crackers, cookies, sugary drinks, and pepperoni pizza lunchables. Kids nowadays who grow up with kale chips, broccoli and hummus, and rice and bean bowls are going to grow strong and super healthy!

I hear that women with pregnancy can reduce the stress by eating fish . And all of our family also like fish.

In fact, everything is normal food for children, vegetables, fruits,meats and other necessary foods, which can develop their physical and emotional well-being.

Man has to be creative in every situation, to develop his mind more and to strengthen his brain. Whether you are lecturing in the new accelerated spring semester or working in a project that will 'sound' at work. If we need the 'open mind' wishes, we need the least amount of food to take good care of our minds.Red meat, which is composed of oil-free and unrestricted part, is a complete iron deposit and is an indispensable source especially for healthy red blood cells. My son refuses to eat fish. I can barely get him to eat meat unless it's a steak or drumsticks. He will however eat fishsticks every now and then. My daughter however will try a little of everything. But won't continue to eat it unless she likes it. They're 5 and 2. I wonder how to get them to eat fish, because I love fish.

Yes fish meat is good because it has omega- 3 which is a really good nutrient for brain. As you mentioned above, the children who had fish in their meals had better IQ than the other one's. Its good to have meat in our diet plan. Meat is the best source for protein and human body needs protein to function well.

I wish I enjoyed fish more, but I'm definitely more of a steak and beef type of person. I do take krill oil though to get some Omega's

the study didn't take account the benefices from other ingredients, it was said the children who ate equilibrate meals are healthier and it is also affecting the mental, like the way of thinking, creativity and solving problems

This is an interesting article and this is what i have noticed in my own life time now 42. I have always believed and known that fish is good for children and people in general its a great food source but now we live in an instant society the microwave society where people have been duped into buying all sorts of food that has been massed produced artificial preservatives gmo engineering, I could go on but look at companies like Monasanto and check out the corruption going on behind the scenes with them. families do not take the time to cook from fresh materials any more. families don't sit down together that much at the table. Sell by dates on food are not as long as they used to be so we buy and buy more and more yet wth out going into all the stuff thats happening its our response ability as adults to get back to giving support to local produce. "You are what you eat" a very common saying and if you were to research the affect that these artificial preservatives caused us we be shocked. Our children are accepting this as the norm because thats what they are born into. its easy to cry conspiracy but who has checked out chemical trails and how long that has been going on, it wont be much longer before our waters are so polluted that even fish will be a health hazard. What about the use of flouride in water ? look at history and you will find Hitler used it in concentration camps to keep peoples minds docile. Suc a massive evil background going on with food and we the people are sitting back accepting it. Even freaking seeds for vegatables are genetically engineered now go research it. I love salmon though even that picture @amiramnoam is making my mouth water but we need to educate our children before all they eat in the future is a load of pills. I guess that's because of the omega 3 content, but it can be found in other vegetarian foods such as avocado, flax seed...

Fish it being protein is really much better for children and elderly ones. I have found out that the oil in fishes is really nutritious when added to soup preparation or some diet meal. And yes fish develop the thinking of children likewise we got other means to build the IQ of children but taking fish makes it faster on IQ development. But sure fish with other ingredients that will be nutritious should be included with that it works better..just like vegetables too for much balance diet because too much of a fish eating aint good. True that fish is good for the brain. Youngsters in my country enjoy instant noodles very much where this is one way where they get a quick meal that they like. Changing the diet takes determination for them.

In my opinion, i feel what children eat is a factor affecting their intelectual quotient(IQ) but not a major factor. What children eat mostly affect how healthy and strong they look not always in terms of IQ. I think a high intelectual quotient(IQ) is somewhat hereditary. In conclusion, many factors countribute to having a very high IQ.

you are definitely right, you can also take supplements, that contains omega 3 and 6. the fishes have to be fresh otherwise you can't grant the benefices from it. For example, if you eating tuna from a can, you won't gain anything. regarding your question you need to take these supplements doesn't matter where they came from

With what you just posted....it's obvious that fish has a lot of benefits to children.....should I say fish or protein as a whole. Though for me I think children should be fed with foods that have appropriate nutrients at all times, that way one nutrient won't supersede the other

Omega-3 and other fish oils has been proven by SAB(Science Advisory Board) to improve intellectual connections hence better menta enhancement

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that is essential for brain health, and it is plenty available in Fish hence eating fish is very good for Memory. Salmon is one of the best fish for the purpose. Thats a nice informative post my friend.

I never ate fish as a child and still do not eat it often yet at 14 I was certified by Mensah to be in the top tier percentage wise for IQ

But maybe I am an exception to the rule

In addition, Ginger strengthens the immune system, it is useful in cutting bone such as coughing and appetite.

  • For this, after adding a little honey, after adding to the children, sprinkle fresh ginger and half a glass of warm water in 1 fresh water.
    As you said, seafood is very important in the development of children.
