Maybe out of the topic, but we often forget that it's not just the duration of our life. May seem like more on the philosophical side, but the life should be large, not long!
And longer lives or predictability of life isn't going to make our life less miserable for sure. Has anyone watched Black Mirror TV series here? If you did, you know what I'm talking about. :)
Yeah, technology can have really undesired effects for sure and I agree that life should be larger than longer, but I think such tech should be there because they save lives, and the people whose family members' lives are saved due to this tech, won't bother about its potential adverse effects.
