This leads the person to become preoccupied and constantly occupied with overthinking about both small and big matters. Individuals who suffer from overthinking find it difficult to concentrate, relax, and enjoy life.

Harmful Effects of Overthinking:

  1. Lack of concentration: People who experience overthinking struggle to focus on tasks and daily activities, negatively impacting their performance at work and in studies.
  2. Anxiety and stress: Overthinkers experience high levels of anxiety and stress, always expecting the worst in every situation and feeling constant tension.
  3. Depression: Overthinking can lead to feelings of sadness and depression, as the mental pressure and stress accumulate, affecting the person's overall mood.
  4. Mental and physical fatigue: Overthinking exhausts the person mentally and physically, resulting in constant fatigue and tiredness.
