Following on from my previous video about trolls and communication breakdown, there's another aspect that contributes to communication issues online that is a result of global interaction.
While in the past, you may only interact with people in your proximity, now with global social media, we find ourselves communicating with people on the other side of the globe, apparently in the same language.
There are issues of language nuance, based on cultural differences and linguistic divergence, and the misunderstanding thereof, that may lead to communication breakdown online.
