because someone didn’t believe he really did it the last time.
Tommy Fitz as he was also known, was a Marine and an American Pilot during the Korean War.
The plane was stolen from Teterboro School of Aeronautics, New Jersey on September 30, 1956 at 3.00 AM and the flight to New York City took 15 minutes.
The second plane he stole was from the same airfield on October 4, 1958 just before 1.00 AM
And the plane was landed at a private university.
