Yes! I have it and I’m pretty sure you too…
I read before about those “living things” that enjoy the ride on our bodies but I have to say that this one surprised me.
Our passenger is called Demodex Folliculitis and live in our faces. Right now in my eye are about 25 of these mites in each hair follicle.
Yes! they may be in your eyes also.
Because this mite doesn’t like the light, he enjoy going out of the hair follicle in the night and take a walk around our faces.
Interesting fact is that when we get older, more of this parasites are likely to get on board due our immune system get weaker.
Don’t freak out!
These passengers are pretty much harmless and they are actually very helpful for our lives as “alarm system” to let us know when something is out of balance.
Until yesterday I didn’t know I have them, so nothing should change hehehe
Here is a link for you to get more details and don’t worry they are coming in peace!

Yikess! I knew we had organisms on our skin, but eyelashes? Glad they are not harmful!

Just one of the over 1,000,000 organisms living on and in our bodies. This is not a bad thing. Most help our bodies to maintain and regulate. :-)
