The winner is voted by you based on the upvotes from the individual continents winner announcements. The winner of the weekly round receives 20 SBD from me and then enters into a monthly and possibly yearly challenge to compete for 200 SBD in total.
I have given out hundreds of SBD to the weekly and monthly winners and thousands of dollars worth of upvotes to winning participants. Mandaragiri Hills - Basadi Betta. The beautiful Mandaragiri hills is located near Tumkur which is 60kms from Bangalore. The temple s famous for its Jain temple and the monolithic rock structure. Their is an ancient temple built on the monolithic rock which is dated 1000yrs old. You will have to hike 600 steps to reach the hill top. The temple on hill top will always be closed. The best time to visit is evening and before Dark.

One of my favourite places in Australia, an authentic paradise located in Fraser Island, state of Queensland. Lake McKenzie is simply pure and transparent. It looks like a swimming pool.

Let's try a jellyfish for this week! This one comes from Tunisia, late in the day during the sunset. Quite hard to shot but it's worth to do it. The place was full of jellyfishes during this summer.

Camel Silhouette at Sunrise in Sahara, Morocco. When I got up early in the morning to capture the sun rising over the Moroccan Sahara, the camels were already awake. Their silhouettes made for some great shots against the rising sun.

Laguna Verde in Uyuni, Bolivia. Some travellers visit the Uyuni salt lake only as a day trip, but miss out on the surreal landscapes of Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve nearby. The "green lagoon" Laguna Verde with snow-capped volcanoes in the background is only one of many attractions in this area.
