Hello Steemit Fretz!

Welcome to my Travel Trivia & Facts Series. Come and travel with me around the world to find fun, informative, and out of this world information about traveling and exploring different places around the world.

There’s a resort that allows you to take a dip and take a bath with your favorite beverage. This is the Yunessun Spa Resort, located in Japan.

Yunessun Spa

Yunessun is a theme park type hot spring that is situated in Hakone. Aside from the typical relaxing hot warm baths, this resort offers exotic bathing options to suit their guests preference. Here are some of the interesting baths that they offer:

Wine Bath

Coffee Bath

Green Tea Bath

Sake Bath

Sake is popular Japanese drink that is created from fermented rice. This has low-alcohol content

Chocolate Bath

Yunessun has different other hot spring and spa types that you can check out. How about you my fretz, would you like to try them out?

Bad idea, the skin absorbs the drink's compounds, like Alcohol and Caffeinne. People can die :(

That is sad. :( what about chocolate? ^^

Not a bad thing about chocolate... it is even good for your skin :)

Yummy too. ^^

oh haha then I guess what I just commented on this post is right. I said "can you get drunk from bathing in wine? And I also said if I bathed in coffee I'd have a caffeine overdose and die!" I guess I was right!

Literally, just one cup of coffee makes me SO hyper, I have to play leap frog with someone or something haha. I can't imagine bathing in it lol

Yeah, not for me either...
If I drink more than 2 coffees per day I start to shiver.

Haha I'm glad it's not just me. Would you play leap frog, doe?

This is definitely a very interesting concept! My question is, aren't you going to feel drunk if you stay for long in the wine bath?? :))

I definitely have no idea! Maybe a litte bit tipsy?

oh haha I just commented the same thing! I should've read yours first

Haha, I guess it's a normal question to have when you see something like that! :)

Hahahahahaha I can't even think of drinking there! Imagine if someone used it for nefarious reasons, no no.

And there's also sake :O I've drunk some sake and it's good but strong. Would that damage your skin? Soaking in alcohol.

No, I wouldn't think of it. But I saw them giving out drinks. The bath is not for consumption though (in my own POV) Lol

Were you there? :O

No, on the resort's website. hahahha ^^

Hello! Yes, joined your contest. :) But would really appreciate it if you don't promote your contest on my post. Thankies!

I would love to visit!

Me too. ^^

Hey, thanks for lifting me. Cheers:)

So cool 😂😂😂

It is super cool!

Chocolate for me, thank you!

Me too!

Great!

Why do you think it's great? ^^

Wlow! nice pool...

Great!

It is, would you like to try if given a chance?

oooohhhh this looks like fun!

Rukka says it bad but I don't mind trying it once. ^^

I'll take a Bloody Mary bath anytime!

The post is really interesting - I never knew such baths existed. But they should keep kids out of the wine bath just in case one of them inadvertently gulped down some of it.

@maxabit You should also tell them not to swim at the Sake Bath as well. :) Maybe you can let them try the chocolate bath. ^^

I think all of the baths must be highly diluted with some artificial coloring to give it the same effect as the original - so that even if someone gulps a bit of the liquid it will not be harmful.

I'll definitely try the green tea bath since I am a long time green tea drinker. (-:

:) That'd be great. Hmmmm. I'm leaning more towards the chocolate bath. :)

I can see why - you get a pouring of chocolate sauce as shown in the image!

The same thing happens in the wine bath - getting poured from a bottle of wine.

hahhaha Yes. I'd love that. You get to whispers lick and taste it a bit. ^^

Interesting concept

It is. ^^

@dawnsheree Looks like an interesting concept! I see in the comments that in theory you have to be careful, but of course that all depends on how much alcohol or caffeine is in the "water"... I'm sure it's safe and looks like fun! People have been bathing in substances other than water for centuries :)

Thanks @redwellies. Good or bad I'm going to try it out. Just once maybe. :) Thanks for that. What's your favorite? Which one would you do?

@dawnsheree so hard to choose lol!! I'm thinking green tea :) But the chocolate one sure looks interesting too!! Like a human fondue lol... I wonder how often they change the "water"...

So weird that you posted this because I JUST read about this somewhere the other day. Have you tried it?

Haha so my thought about it was: if you take a bath in wine, do you get drunk?

Because your skin is very absorbent! Wine seems like it would dry out my skin/stain my clothes.

And also, I'd have a caffeeine overdose and die if I took a bath in coffee haha. Maybe I would try a green tea bath or something.

@nomadicsoul hahhaha great points there but if you're not into tea, the smell might be a problem right?
I never tried this ever!

What a nice and interesting spa! I would definitely give it a try!
And it reminds me of a Korean mud spa -- it might not be a spa, but similar to it.

You can google Boryeong Mud Festival if interested! :)

Waaah that looks pretty fun @sujisyndrome! Have you tried doing the mud fight/festival?

Not yet, but I would. And the best part of it is, the mud is so good to skin :) If you come over to Korea, I'll take you there!

I'll take your word for it. :) No plans on Korea for this year but if i do, we definitely need to meet up. ^^
