One of the best landscapes and views i had the luck to photograph was the Milford Sound, in the south island of New-Zealand. The dusk light was perfect with this big sunbeam making its way through the clouds! A scene made in heaven!

This was shot on Kodak Ektar film.

The photo is fantastic. The reflection of the light gives it a mysterious touch, and the landscape is spectacular. Is it sea water?

Thank you! It's kind of a fjord connected directly to the Tasman sea, so it's mainly sea water but the surface is fresh water coming from the rainfalls, that's why it's smooth like a lake and gives this reflection. This area is truly unbelievable!

So it seems. So it seems... :)

Amazing.

A brilliantly shot and timed picture. Keep it up!
What was the exposure, aperture and ISO settings?

Thank you!

Well it was shot in 2009 i think and on a manual film camera, but if memory serves it was shot at 100 iso (kodak ektar), probably with my 28mm wide open at 2.8, and a shutter set 1/60 or 1/125 to minimize shaking (i shot handheld) and still retain shadow details, if that helps!

Wow. That was pretty informative! Brilliantly planned and executed. It was a wonderful scene which you shot. Hope you can do it again.
Good luck!
