I travel the world #391: Japanese Hairsalon

Japanese Hair Salon

As often as possible I try to get my hair cut by a Japanese Hairstylist. I like the way they cut the hair better than the European or American Hairstylist do. So I always make sure to A.)be in Japan the time I need a haircut or B.) find a Japanese Hair Stylist in a foreign country (for example in Bangkok it is easy but expensive). In Japan a Haircut for men costs around 30USD to 100 USD. In Thailand it starts at 35 USD to 200 USD for a Japanese Hairstylist.

This Hairsalon I visited in Tokyo was very interesting. They were selling stuff from local artists and they even had rice, soysauce and other stuff from other regions from Japan on sale. They served me a nice green tea while serving and after that a stuff member washed my hair so nicely that I fell asleep. The Hair stylist was very interested in talking to me about foreign countries and after explaining about my blog and Steemit he wanted to signup too to make some promotion for his store, I will keep you updated once he signs up

I live in Switzerland and a hair cut for men is 20 dollars the cheap ones and 50-80 the expensive ones. For women, that's another story. But yeah I (Dani) always spend 30 bucks a month for a haircut. We will be in Japan in September, should I try a haircut there? hehehehe

trust me ty a hair salon in japan. it is day and night compared to europe

I dont have much hair so my haircuts are free i just get my friend to use the clippers :), when i did have hair i cant remember how much it was as it was a long time ago lol

Im a head half full of hair rather than a head half empty of hair kinda guy :) so alls good \o/

For those of us that are losing/have lost our hair. No haircut is required anymore. A razor and a pair of trimmers does the job.

thats a "bold" statement ;) well I have hair, but sometimes I wish I just would cut all my hair. just wanna now how it feels like without hair

The first time is scary. You wonder if your scalp is misshapen, or has moles, or scars etc etc. Once you swipe the clippers through your hair, there is no going back.

Woa, whats the difference in cutting style?

they use the best sizzers made by Japnese families whom made swords before ;)
and I guess their sense for fashion is just better than in europe

Aaaaa samurai swords? Best killing steel on the planet ;)

You are blessed really.. Having the opportunities to travel explore and have fun.. Cheers for you and all the best of adventures my friend :)

Wow I had no idea Japanese hairstylists were so revered! And expensive too! My dad and little brother were just in Osaka. I should ask them if they got their hair cut, lol! Nice post :D

Hi. Good post! I invite to estimate my travel of https://steemit.com/travel / @ goshawalker/travel-to-india-darmsala

Great job you get a hair cut that you love and also someone interested in Steemit. I lived in Okinawa, back in the early 60s and a woman's hair was done for 50 cents in American currency. Surely wish I could get that same deal now.

nice. thanks for sharing

Great Post. I hope someday to go to Japan. It is one of my great goals. Thanks for sharing.

In my country Venezuela a haircut is costing around half a dollar.

Best,

so, where is a picture of your haircut? why is it better?

I live in Bucharest and the cost of a haircut is 10 $, and the price can be increased, depending on the length of the hair and what the customer wants: bangs, short haircuts, etc. For men, the price is lower, it is about 8 $.

oh 10 euro in buacharest sounds expensive compared to the income there.

Great post. upvoted and resteemed. Please visit my blog @bikash-tutor. Thank you.

its really awosam gadget how much cost you spend on it

I tease my local barber all the time that he is making a killing on me.

I have been balding for the last decade, but I am not completely bald. Therefore I tease my barber that he only has to cut half the hair for the same price!

He's a good guy and I think razzing him works to my advantage.

For $20, I get my hair trimmed plus he styles my beard and cleans it up. To me, $20 is extremely cheap for this service.

Very beautiful, spectacular, I would love to visit that place

so great photos, the photography is so real that it seems i am with you, seeing with my own eyes all that fantastic place
