Bangkok

My next destination of my journey was Bangkok visiting the Big Buddha at Wat Pho. It is a pretty long drive if you are staying in the Sukumvit Area but totally worth it. If you decided to go there I recommend the BTS to the last station and than changing to a cab

Please beware of the fraudsters which try to trick you into thinking that the Temple is closed. Never board one of the Tuktuks, they will drive you for hours through Bangkok and ask you to buy worthless crap. Once you enter and see this huge laying Buddha you will be happy you took the trip to visit Wat Pho.

Unfortunately there was no winner for my last Quiz, I will make it easier this time. How long and tall is Big Buddha? Correct answer will get 5 SBD. As usual re-steem,follow and put your answer into comments

How Long is Big Buddha ???

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wat_Pho
The Buddha is 15 m high and 46 m long.

Wat Pho
Wat Pho (Thai: วัดโพธิ์, pronounced [wát pʰōː] (listen)), also spelled Wat Po, is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is located on Rattanakosin Island, directly south of the Grand Palace. Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, its official name is Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan (Thai: วัดพระเชตุพนวิมลมังคลารามราชวรมหาวิหาร; pronounced [wát pʰráʔ tɕʰê:t.tù.pʰon wíʔ.mon.maŋ.kʰlaː.raːm râːt.tɕʰá.wɔː.ráʔ.má.hǎː.wíʔ.hǎːn] (listen)). The more commonly known name, Wat Pho, is a contraction of its older name Wat Photaram (Thai: วัดโพธาราม; RTGS: Wat Photharam). The temple is first on the list of six temples in Thailand classed as the highest grade of the first-class royal temples.

I think Big Buddha height is 15m, total length is 46m. Resteemed this article.

I love Bangkok! Seeing as how you like restaurants can i recommend a visit to The Iron Fairies? Its a beautiful setting and in my opinion a must see in Bangkok(I've also been to the one in Tokyo)!

I'm pretty sure everyone is just Googling the height so I won't bother there. Cheers!
