It was late afternoon when I got to arrived at Wun Ju Sa temple in Wha Sun Area.
Wun Ju Sa temple was well known as a mysterious Buddhist temple.
It was yet to be known when this temple was built.
What waited for me was the one pillar gate when I arrived at.
As passing through the gate, I could see various kinds of pagodas and Buddha statues.
The most impressive things at first were Buddha statues scattered along the road to the temple.
The statues were very experimental, it was hard to believe those statues were made more than 1000 years ago.
When those statues were made, the expression of the faces of statues were commonly solemn.
But the faces of those statues were very liberal.
It was quite different from Buddha statues in other places.
It is amazing that those statues were sculpted over one thousand years ago, and yet, they still are serving as the original intention. Of course, being a Buddha, they will be treated with the utmost respect and live another thousand years.
When did the Buddha change from solemn to a more traditionally known (as now) face? I notice the ones that are made today very nearly never carry a solemn face as these do.
Are all the old ones like that? Thank you again for your time. Go well.

@slowwalker,
That gate is one of the most beautiful gate I have seen through your articles! Moreover the statues are quite rare and not seen that type of stone crafting before!
Without your articles about these secret places at Korea we never know about those places!
Cheers~

@slowwaker, The temple was so mysterious then it make you curious to know and make a research when it was built. i know you have interesting in archeology from the posts you made, I feel you have an interest in the world of archeology. Who knows, with your research, it can be found when this temple was built. because what I see is that many scattered Buddhist statues can be proof of history in the past. With the help of carbon tests, the age of the stone will be known and estimate when the statue will be made.
Any way, you have to make good photos and nice posts.
Thank you @slowwalker
Warm regard from Indonesia
