hi there, I'd say it depends on the problem. I can imagine situations one would not want to address directly to the guests, but mostly one could easy go into a confrontation - maybe you / the other part can learn something new?

Someone complained that I asked people to buy some of my bitcoin. I think the way to handle it best is to directly tell the people around you what you do not like. Like when a smoker is sitting in a cafe, he asks first if it is ok for the people around him and if they don't mind he lights up a cigarette. A few weeks ago I had the same problem that someone complained. It was because of my e-cigarette.
