I lived in Copenhagen Denmark between 1987 to 2001. If you ever get the chance to visit Copenhagen, then you should be able to cover most of the city in just only a long weekend.
There are a few main tourist attractions to visit and below you can see the most popular ones that I would recommend for your trip to Copenhagen. But remember to look out for all the bikes, cause there are thousands everywhere lol.
Nyhavn (The Old Harbor)
Amalienborg Palace (Queens Palace)
The Little Mermaid
Tivoli Gardens By Night
The main walking street through the center of Copenhagen
The Round Tower
The States Museum
Once you have covered the main attractions above, then there is not much more to see, unless you travel a little outside Copenhagen.
Here is a couple of places to visit in Klampenborg, which I would personally recommend to visit, if you are able too and have some spare time on your hands.
Bakken ( The Worlds Oldest Amusement Park)
Dyrehaven in Klampenborg (Deer Park In Klampenborg)
Hope you found the information helpful? if you are planning a trip to Copenhagen in the furture.

excellent photos. I love the shot with the fireworks. The smoke and exploding trails make some awesome contrasting colors.

Thank you @notippy! You should see the fireworks live in Tivoli Gardens at night. The best time to see them is when it's snowing, as you have the colors reflecting on the snow :)

Ohh wow. Those colored houses on the water remind me of Willemstad in Curacao... so beautiful.
