Orchid Island Series #1 [蘭嶼]

Many years ago, I had a chance to visit this fabulous island for 5 days. It was an amazing experience, so I will shares some of the picture and hopefully you will visit it someday.

Orchid island is located south east of Taiwan and the only way to get there is by small airplane or speedboat. I am too scared to take the plane, so I took the boat. One reminder, Do Not Eat before boarding. I puked everything out in the first 10 mins while the ride took about 3 hours.

Once you get to the island, you could choose to rent a scooter or a bicycle; I brought my own road bike. The island is not big, I could circle the island with my bike under 2 hours without much trying. If you are up for it, I definitely recommend choosing bike over scooter.

好幾年前有機會去蘭嶼玩了五天．沒有什麼先進的設施（現在好像有便利商店了), 沒有白沙灘也沒有美女, 卻又令人很懷念．不過因為交通不容易到, 也再也沒回去過．想寫個遊記讓自己再回想那段時光．

蘭嶼在台灣的西南方, 基本上只有小飛機或快速船能到．我是不敢搭８人小飛機, 就從墾丁搭船一早出發．民宿老闆還很熱情的買一大分漢堡給我當早餐, 我也不疑有詐吃的開心, 結果非常慘不忍睹. 就這樣又暈又吐的過了三個小時.

島上的交通方式基本上都是租機車, 我是帶著自己的公路車. 蘭嶼不大, 就算騎腳踏車差不多兩個小時可以繞一圈. 我個人是還蠻建議邊騎踏車邊逛的(如果另一半同意的話).
