More Music From "Always Sunny"

In this episode from season 3, the gang decides to start a band, but no one can agree on the stylistic or musical direction of the group, and Charlie is the only one who can play an instrument. These clips show the origin of Charlie's "Nightman Cometh" musical that he will eventually put on in a feeble attempt to seduce The Waitress.

And here is Dayman in its final version, performed by the whole Paddy's crew.

This song has actually been covered by quite a few bands! Here are a hard rock version by RMB, and live cover by Portugal the Man, at Red Rocks.

Rock, Flag and Eagle. Charlie is stepping up for 'Murica on this one.

In this scene, the gang performs the opening for Frank's creepy beauty pageant.

Here is Charlie's cringey marriage-proposal-finale to "Nightman Cometh". Needless to say, The Waitress declines!

The guys try to take advantage of a Philadelphia garbage strike, by targeting higher end clientele. They really don't try to hard to hide the fact that most of the show is filmed around LA (not Pennsylvania), and this scene is a minor example of that.

The gang starts their day right with some Talking Heads, and dances to their sister act, the Tom Tom Club.
