UBI Paradox: Alaska's Budget Deficit is Political Threat to its Basic Income, State Just Avoided Shutdown!

UBI generally determines that $1,000 per individual monthly is enough to help people live without stress. What if you are a single with nobody to share the living costs?  However the current UBI forecast is based on people not working full-time anymore. But how much will get somebody who is full-time unemployed, considering that some industry sectors will be much more affected than others by automation and megacomputers? This type of data is not available (yet) on any serious UBI website, so how can one embrace a theory that still is under-developed?  This is a big flashing red light! 

The UBI template also only functions for low income people it seems, examples with salaries ranging from $1,000-1,500 abound. But what if somebody lost his/her job to megacomupters and making $4-5K monthly right before being laid off? How can we even think such a person will manage with an sudden plummeting income, knowing that those earning more are also spending more?

UNIVERSAL BASIC INCOME CAN NO LONGER PRAISE THE ALASKAN MODEL

Please also note that the Alaska so-called successful model is being threatened by the state’s Budget Deficit was Political Threat to its Basic Income in 2015 - according to basicincome.org. But since it is the entire west which  is in huge deficits, how could we even start financing it? Actually last June 2017, Alaska governor urges budget compromise to avoid state shutdown. There goes POOF the Alaskan miracle. 

Will Universal Basic Income End Financing The Right To Get Killed?

No pro-UBI websites also seem to be dealing with the war budget, although most, if not all, mention that 'military spending will have to be reduced to fund UBI. But none dare talk about numbers. How realistic is this? The whole planet is under the influence of arm and military deals like never before as you read this, and the UBI isn't even anti-war? But yet claims that it is dedicated to people's welfare. Just go figure! 

 WHERE THE FUNDS TO IMPLEMENT UBI WILL COME FROM: 

• Cancel most existing antipoverty programs, which cost about $1  trillion a year, including food stamps ($76 billion a year), housing  assistance ($49 billion), and the Earned Income Tax Credit ($82 billion)
• Cut military spending
• Phase out most tax expenditures (tax breaks), which currently cost $1.2 trillion a year
• Implement a federal sales tax and a financial transaction tax
• Establish a collective wealth fee and “Sky Trust” modeled after the highly successful Alaska Permanent Fund, which could pay a dividend of $5,000 per person annually
