There is info on this in the FAQ. As a short answer, 40 votes per 24 hours is the amount you can cast without depleting your voting power at a rate faster than it replenishes.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
