Contribution to Esteem app - reporting a bug

The Esteem app is great for us to use on our Mobile phones. I have been using it for a while when I am not at the computer. I love it. I know that the project owner is going to issue a new version soon so I want to report this bug to the project owner to fix this before the soon release.

Expected behavior

• On the home page of our blog, the thumbnail pictures show up on the left side of our thumbnail.

• These thumbnails are very good to attract people to read our blog.

• I have been using both d-tube and d-sound platforms, the thumbnails would appear on the left side like all the other posts.

Actual behavior - BUG with missing thumbnails

Recently, thumbnail pictures are missing when I post specifically via these 2 PLATFORMS: D-tube and D-sound platforms

1. Actual Behavior in D-tube posting - When I post from the d-tube platform, lately the thumbnail picture does not appear.

2. Actual behavior when posting via d-sound platform - When I post from the d-sound platform, lately the thumbnail picture also does not appear.

I do not understand the reason why there is this unstable behavior showing up when postings coming via these platforms in the last couple of days. When I posted via d-tube and -dsound platforms in previous days, the thumbnails do show up. The problem is not with d-sound and d-tube but more son with the esteem app not showing these thumbnails.

Reproducing the Bugs and how to fix the bug

Device Used

1. Smart phone: Samsung C7 Pro

2. Operating System: Android 7.0

3. Browser: Esteem app Version (1.5.1)

• Open up the Esteem App in Android.

• Look at your Home page

• The thumbnails should show up on the left side even when post done via the d-tube videos and d-sound platforms.

1. Thumbnail missing Via the D-tube platform:

Here is Screenshot of the post I did yesterday via the d-tube platform:

• The red arrow points to the missing thumbnail that is not showing up
• this post is done via D-tube.

Here is a Screenshot of what it should look like via d-tube platform:

• I posted via d-tube the day before, and the thumbnail shows up.
• I boxed it in GREEN so you can see what it looks like
• ARROW GREEN shows you the thumbnail pictures that should show up
• The thumbnail should show up like this post.

2. Thumbnail Missing Via the D-sound platform:

Here is Screenshot of the post I did 5 days ago from the d-sound platform:

• the red arrow is pointing to the missing thumbnail on the left
• this post is via d-sound.

Here is a Screenshot of what it should look like via d-sound:

• I put in the Green box of what the thumbnail should look like
• with GREEN ARROW showing the appearance of the thumbnail there
• this is what the thumbnail should look like via the d-sound platform.
• this post was done 2 weeks ago via d-sound and the thumbnail shows up.
