Tonight I went with my parents to go get some sushi! My sisters are away on a swimming camp so it was just the three of us who celebrated my Dad starting his new job today. I had the usual, vegetable california rolls and avocado makis.
What you see on the pic is what I had. I know it looks more like a meal on Kayla Itsines BBG, but I had four homemade pizzas earlier tonight so was not that hungry.
On the exercise front I went for an easy run this morning (vlog here) and did a Strava KOM attempt on the bike late afternoon. It was my first hard effort on the bike in a few weeks so I'm very surprised with how well it went. I put two 25c tires on my bike so maybe that made a bigger difference than I thought it would. Even if it did, my legs still felt strong though.
This was a very normal day of eating for me so here is everything I had:
200g white table sugar
half a watermelon
100g medjool dates
4x veg pizzas (medium)
22 pieces of veg sushi
This weekend I'm going to ride up 'Hansekop' climb, which is the hardest climb in the Western Cape. A part of it is off road, so I'm a bit nervous about how the TCR is going to do. If I do make it up the views are guaranteed to be epic.
