I tend not to ask rhetorical questions here. If you hear me asking something, I haven't worked out the answer yet but you might see me getting somewhere with the question. So yeah, no answers yet, but an interesting space to mull over. Are there any rules in Steemit? How would we know? Who would make them and who would enforce them? Hint: the answer to any "who" question about a network like Steemit is always "us" or at least "some of us".

Speaking of rules in steemit, sometimes it confuses me. What should I do in steemit, and what are the rules in steemit for us to be successful like the other guys out there. Until now I have not found that answer. Because I see only people who have a lot of Steempower who can be successful. Although many people say that success takes a lot of struggle, I believe it. But it's very hard for us to get friends in steemit, if we do not have Steempower. But I will keep trying to produce works that are useful for the crowd. Let me be successful in steemit. thank you @lloyddavis

The successful people built their accounts up. That doesn't come quickly or easily. You just got here. Build a community around what interests you. Make it fun and you won't worry about how much you make.

I think the more interesting question for me at the moment is not so much "what are the rules" but "how do I want to play the game" given the way Steemit is set up. And I refer mostly to the massive imbalance of power and rewards that I was surprised to find here.
Taking a bit of a step back these past 2 days has enabled me to see that I haven't really accepted that imbalance. But now I see that there's not much point in railing (sp?) against it but it's more a question of, given that's the way it is, what do you want or not want to do about it?

a very good post @lloyddavis, I think the rules in our own steemit that specify. Why I say so, because in steemit we are entitled to determine with whom we befriend and to whom we give vote. But, if we want to succeed, we must help each other and be friends to be able to share. I will watch your video again, to be able to add my insights about steemit. Thanks for sharing and hope you have a wonderful day ... :)

I have not found it yet. steemit is like a chicken that has no mother, but there is a parent, the rules I see are still abstract shapes

I emailed steemit but No response, then I came to know that I can't do anything about it.

Steemit is whatever we want to make it. There's some talk of cooperating to deal with those abusing the system. We can collectively flag to avoid retaliation
