Today was my first day on steemit and before I made my first post i did a bit of research for it...... and everyone was like... "Steemit values quality content"..."The community doesn't tolerate the spammers" etc.... But my experience was a tad bit dissapointing..... People just post links for stuff on the site... stuff they didn't make in the first place.... and get 20~30 upvotes on it.... that is demeaning to the original creator of the content and to this community.... thank you for bringing this forward..... because being a minnow I think I never could in time.
