Hello from Zed again, a little (intimate) insight into me

The first poem in my poetry series, hope you enjoy it and it resonates with you for anyone that's been there before. Zed.

Apartment 601
You tasted like white wine,
And salted words,
Sheets stained,
From an undying war,
The hum from our battery operated television,
Fought for an audience with our rage.

I didn’t leave you
For lack of love,
I left that in the note,
On our old fridge,
Under the magnet we bought in Dalton,
The last line read
“Goodbye Tink”.

You always liked it when I called you that.

Thank you very much.

Made me feel

Haha, I apologise.
