Although your post is very well written, and I appreciate that, meaning, the well written part, you're still trying to define something that is an abstraction; mind you, I do not begrudge your efforts, in fact, I appreciate them.
But still, and all your points are well taken, trying to define what constitutes good content is almost like a man trying to explain why this starlet with the big boobs, as opposed to that English one with the flawless diction and the green eyes, is 'more beautiful.' I guess what I'm trying to state is that, it's probably something very subjective.
Let me, for example, take a very personal approach to illustrate: I consider myself a pretty fair writer. Yet, and I have only been here for about two weeks, despite several attempts at getting some traction in the form of recognition for 6 or 8 posts, that are, subjectively, of course, very well written by me, all I have gotten is two comments, along with people who seem to "follow" me even before I have clicked the Post button!
Two comments only; of those, one was from some expert on grammar telling me about a minor mistake in one of the posts; the second one was from an individual who does not seem to be in touch with reality, yet he has an account here, plus a keyboard, informing me or, accusing me or the world, that someone had stolen from a non-profit cause that he seem to favor - unfortunately, I know nothing about the cause, and quite fortunately, I know nothing about him or his mental condition!
Thus, as I mentioned above, my own subjective opinion, or perception of, my own shares here blows; no one notices, no one cares, no one recognizes good content; or, if it's atrocious, meaning my own shtick, no one take the time to mention it.
Now, watch, true to my understanding of how things work here on
steemit, this whole post is now about to go to sleep into a deep black void of silence; let's don't forget apathy, as well.
Anyway, thanks for your share!
