Raiders of the Middle Sea is a fantasy adventure set in Zak Ludick's World of Kedra.

World of Kedra is an expansive fantasy world built with several book series story-lines being written in it.

Introduction to Raiders

The story in Raiders predominantly follows characters from a ship called the King's Dart. The vessel was attacked by pirates and some of the crew was taken prisoner. Some of the prisoners were sold as slaves and made up some of the profits the pirates made on that raid.

One side of the story shows Kayden, an able bodied sailor that has some training in swordsmanship. He was sold as a slave and his story shows him fighting in arenas as a gladiator.

On the other side is Leland who is on his first voyage out to sea. He had been hired as the ship's book keeper. When every trained and qualified person aboard was either killed or taken by the pirates, the remainder of the crew voted for him to be Captain of the vessel as he was the only educated man left.

So the white stack of papers that is in the middle is all of the Steemit published Raiders of the Middle Sea printed out single sided at 12pts. A novel is half the page size but the printed paper is double the novel size, so I can compare the two.

In the picture one book is pressing my stack flat, so it isn't all puffed up. Next to the stack on either side for comparison are Richard A. Knaak's Ice Dragon and Dan Abnett's Riders of the Dead.

Purpose of this is just to see how large the Raiders story has become. I have plenty that is already written that I need to edit and publish and by the time I get to there then there will be more to add to the story to bring it to some sort of conclusion. If there is one.

I have 18 episodes out. I will update this list once every 5-9 posts or two weekly as time allows.
