I went from crow, to one legged crow, to whatever you wanna call this. For some reason, I still can’t hold a handstand, even after years of practicing yoga. I think a lot of it has to do with the way I have practiced handstand in the past. Much of my practice toward handstand (which has been very limited) has been done in closed quarters. Rooms with objects and other obstructions in the surrounding areas where I’m trying to leap into a handstand hold. Psychologically, I feel as though I don’t allow myself to elevate completely, and I end up falling out in fear of hitting something nearby.
Clearly, my methods toward reaching handstand are not allowing me to reach an end goal. Obviously I know what I need to do, but I just haven’t gotten myself to do it. If I actually practice in an appropriate manner, I know I could get to handstand. I have also tried handstand progression programs, but have also failed to follow through with the entire program.
Now is the time I take my practice to the next level! You WILL see me handstand sometime in the near future here on steemit!!
Stay tuned my fellow yogis 🤸🏻♂️
