Working with intensity, alignment and precision in yoga

By working with intensity, alignment and precision in yoga, you get a
great sensitivity in the lower limbs and hips so important that we can
not get an idea of the benefits that our body receives.

Without a doubt, it is not only the idea of becoming aware and focusing on this part of our body, but everything is a chain of consequences of benefits towards different parts of the body. If the feet and legs are placed in a good position of Tadasana, we can immediately feel something happening in our hips that will affect the entire pelvis and our spine in general.

The lower back is decongesting and so on we can experience the feeling of support without weight, of lightness.
Both the stretching in the entire pelvic area and the ease of so many muscles that pass through it, are very important to feel a clear unlocking in this structure.

When Tadasana's stance is lost it means that we lose the inertia of
rise and the body tends to fall, the pelvis suffers a setback, loses
the alignment of the posture and the stability dissipates with which
the weight begins to fall back to the heels and a physical depression
takes place whose origin comes from the excess of muscular tone and effort.

Thus breathing is greatly affected producing a change in mood and a
loss of oxygen in the body. If this happens there is a lack of
consciousness in the body, breathing becomes more unstable, the
sympathetic nervous system is activated as a way of exit or survival,
clearly losing the body-mind connection.

In yoga we look for the balance between the sympathetic system that is related to the active muscle tone and the parasympathetic one that has to do with the calm and relaxed muscular tone.

Too much muscle tone in the body produces tension therefore you have to work with balance between intense muscular action and a relaxed calm not too lax. The way you support yourself in the postures in your bone structure helps the sympathetic system not to trigger access to a support from the bone structure without so much muscular action.

For example in Utthita Parsvakonasana, the support in the head of the femur of the flexed leg gives rise to an internal looseness in the hip and the muscles that protect it therefore a deep inner calm occurs, working with intensity the rest of the body.
