Yogis tend to perform fewer breaths and get more volume of oxygen,
which is more calming and efficient at the same time. The average
percentage of breathing in these people is less than half of the rest
that does not practice.
On the other hand, Yoga improves lung function and increases the nasal respiratory rhythm, which filters the air, warms it up - cold and dry air triggers asthma attack in sensitive people - and humidifies it, removing pollen and other substances before reaching the lungs.
