A basic control technique to induce relaxation, focus, clarity and calm within your state of being.
Descending (4-4-6-2): using Ujjayi
- Inhale for the count of 4
- Hold the breath for the count of 4
- Exhale for the count of 6
- Hold the breath for the count of 2
- Repeat 6-8 times and rest with normal breathing
Remember to relax and not to force anything during this process.
As a practice you may try doing 3 sets of 6-8 Descending breaths, resting in between.
Notice the effects of this breath on your body, your lungs, your state of awareness.
