Just Trying to Keep the Momentum Going - 250 Reps - Day 57 - 5/16/18

Day 57 completing the #fitnesschallenge by @steemmatt! Hard for me to talk about this as it's not me so go check out his post and give some prayer.

Today as I sat down to get my post ready and get my reps in, I felt a little lost because @steemmatt's current situation but I am still motivated to keep it going. I strongly urge everyone to keep it going as well. I will continue to do my reps and keep track but I can expect the fitnesschallenge to be on a bit of a pause right now.

My Daily Challenge Completed

Today I had to skip leg raises because I was adding the leg kicks. Leaving the legraises would get me 300 reps and I only want to do 250. 300 will be for tomorrow, and so on. Let's see how far I can get! I wouldn't mind getting to a 1000 rep day using this method, but I don't think I'll get there this round. I'm thinking 500 before I reset back to 100. I am doing my hardest to not skip a day!

Meals

It's been sandwiches every day lately. I did some groceries today as well but lunch and dinner was sandwiches again. Turkey and Cheese sandwich with a cream cheese and strawberry jelly bagel. I used to eat cream cheese and jelly bagels all the time growing up and it had been a while. I don't normally do the grocery shopping so I was able to do some impulse shopping.

It's also been really warm. When night falls it really cools off but during the day it's been exceptionally hot. Too hot to cook. Just give me some cold cuts and I'm good.

My Motivation

So after a good few months of not smoking I kind of picked it up again. It's been very stressful but I had to remotivate myself to quit again. It seems I keep letting stress get to me as I've had a few drags today but it wasn't even a half of a cigarette. I am doing good at stopping again. One of the main problems is when you want that "I just had a good cig" feeling. At best, a good drag of a cig. The problem is that there is no such thing as a good cig. It's all in your head and lately if I do cave the nicotine high makes me lightheaded and drowsy. While it's motivating me to stop, I forget what it's like when I cave until it's too late.

When I joined Steemit I made the decision to always Power-Up my earnings. For now, payouts are set to 50/50 but you bet I will convert & Power Up! Besides internal transfers, I have never cashed out and don't plan on it! Power-Up only!

I agree I like cold food on hot days. I get pre-packaged salad kits for this reason, the ones that have meat with them (like the readypac brand) and has cold ham/chicken everything needed. Great for lunch! Keep up the good work!

Yeah I get the same thing sometimes. A nice cold salad is great when it's hot. Actually been a while since I made one of my salads. I put everything in it.
