How to make Pineapple Puffs at home

  • Canned pineapple rings 850 g
  • Puff pastry 500 g
  • Eggs 1 piece

Can add

  • Powdered sugar 2 tbsp. spoons
  • Ground cinnamon 1 tsp

Preparation


one. Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2 ․ Place the pineapples in a colander and pat dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle the fruit with powdered sugar and cinnamon, if desired.

3 ․ Roll out the puff pastry into a thin layer and cut into long strips 10-15 mm wide.

four. Wrap the dough around the pineapple rings, threading the strips through the holes in the rings. Spread out the dough so that there is a small gap between the strips.

five. Put the pineapples on a baking sheet, brush with a beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes until golden brown.
