Hi SplinterMates,

For this week's Battle Share Contest Organised by the SplinterLands Team; details can be found @Weekly Splinterlands Battle Share:: We have the Theme GOBLIN MECH - which is a Neutral Monster - that means it can be played for any summoner. Its a great advantage that Neutral monsters has and it's always better to have these monsters leveled up as much as you can to gain more abilities.

I've been using GOBLIN MECH in many battles and normally take advantage when the Mana Cap is higher - such that 40 plus. Where do I currently stand with respect to this Strong Robot Monster that I call GOBLIN MECH is at level 9..

I'm currently close to 90+ Card short to Max GOBLIN MECH and once I'm able to max this card I would get one extra health. For now, I am going to play as is i.e. at level 9 as I think it's still much stronger and I'll manage with one less health and see if I can beat my opponent coz. what really matters is the strategy you gonna make and quite obviously the position of the cards.

Talking it a bit about the Stats; I'm a fan of STUN ability. I say this because it gives your opponent monsters misses the chance to strike and thereby giving your monsters an upper hand. Imagine with this Strong Robot a Melle damage of 6 every time along with STUN ability how much damage can be done. Therefore, I would recommend new players to this amazing game to at least get to level 6 of GOBLIN MECH card and take advantage of its STUN ability. So that's all about Stats I had to say and my current position with the card GOBLIN MECH.. And I'm now ready for the battle..

It was a new rule match that has been recently introduced and quite frankly I like the rule as it gives your opponent who is less strong, card wise an equally opportunity with the EQUALIZER image.png rule makes a lot of difference and gives equal opportunity to the players as well.

I must admit the fact that the friend I was matched with was having lower-level card but he still managed to give me a stuff fight. I have seen many times that if folks are matched with higher rank players many a time they abandon the match but this guy played with a high sportsman spirit and with a good strategy I must say. It was a close match and I would have lost the battle if Sliveshield Assasin would have not shown its magic of double strike and poison ability.. Thanks to Sliveshield Assasin who got me this WIN

TYRUS PLADIUM; was chosen to give me the extra shield, plus I had my daily quest to be completed with LIFE Summoner. Hence taking both the advantages I planned on taking TYRUS PLADIUM..But if you would have carefully noticed the battle rule wherein it says UNPROTECTED; so my +1 shield ability was nullified there itself..but I still went on playing with it taking an extra risk just to get winning battles with the quest rule in hand which was - Win battles with LIFE Summoner. At times its good to take a risk and how interesting it gets when you are playing for fun and enjoyment. Winning and losing is just the part of the GAME.. so chilled out and went ahead with my TYRUS PALADIUM as my Summoner.

GOBLIN MECH - Whom I call the strong robot was to go first. He does the real damage with its 6 Melee Damage at a time. Since I'm having this monster Robot at level 9; it gives me the advantage of STUN ability as well; wherein I can nullify my opponent master attack. As the game rule stated No shield, so I thought of taking a monster with higher melee damage and GOBLIN MECH fitted well here and that too in the first position as well.

The next monster to go was DEFENDER OF TRUTH; I'm admitting the fact that it was a wrong choice here considering the game rule No shield. I realized the rule a bit late and there was no time left to change another card. I still went ahead with DEFENDER hoping that its magic ability will do some really damage and it really did help in the battlefield, so no regrets at all choosing Defender; at times you need to explore other abilities of a card not just that what they are good at..so this time Defender speed with magic ability did come to rescue.

Here comes SLIVERSHEILD ASSASSIN; as I stated at the beginning of this post it was mainly due to SLIVERSHEILD ASSASSIN that I was able to mark a victory over my opponent. The real damage was done by double strike ability along with POISON. The enemy here in the battle had a very strong card placed at the send. If you would have carefully looked at my enemy line-up you would have noticed that he had a card that had 8 Health along with 2 ranged attacks. This could have been a real loss to my monsters if SLIVERSHEILD wasn't there and due to which I was able to destroy the monster of my enemy which was placed at the last position.. At last, I would say that Simply my answer to monsters that are placed in the last position was SLIVERSHEILD ASSASSIN.. And it really did the damage as planned by me, fortunately.

I love 4 Ranged attacks by my PEACEBRINGER; he does really bring peace to me but not to the opponent but rather frustrates the enemy when he is hit by a 4 ranged attack every time, it really destroys your enemy badly. Apart from 4 ranged attacks if you look at the power which is 5 at level 7; it gives you an upper hand to attack first. Therefore my intention to use PEACEBRINGER in this battle was to get the chance of attacking first and doing the real damage; that means the heavy lifting was done here by Mr. PEACEBRINGER

image.png

Placing FURIOUS CHICKEN at the end was an added advantage as I had already used the required Mana Cap for monsters to be played with. In case there was anything that was planned by my opponent to attack the last position then I thought let the Chicken be roasted and take those hits..But quite surprisingly there was nothing as such planned and luckily my chicken wasn't roasted, so she is still alive and I would use her in the next battle to trap some other opponent lol...

I did tell you all the truth and further speaking - YES the strategy did work. But I'm admitting the fact that my opponent had weaker cards. Though the rule of the battle being fare enough wherein it equalizes the monsters but still, it didn't help him. What I found interesting was the sportsman spirit of my opponent and hats off to him for playing the match and not quitting. This is a game overall and we are playing for fun and entertainment so it doesn't matter even if you lose or have weaker cards.. Just play for fun and you get a lot of rewards here in this game SplinterLands.. So overall, I did like to say the strategy was simple to do the real damage with heavy weight lifter like my Strong Robot GOBLIN MECH & PEACEBRINGER & it did turn out to work out pretty well at the last..

I'm a big FAN of GOBLIN MECH & that is the reason I call him the Strong Robot. Its STUN ability is just amazing along with the 6 Melle damage. I'm currently 90 cards short to MAX GOBLIN MECH; so looking forward to MAX this strong robot in near future..

Finally on an endnote, if you look at the shield which GOBLIN MECH has i.e. 7 & when other cards like DEFENDER OF TRUTH who further adds +2 Sheild - You can imagine how strong GOBLIN MECH can be having a SHIELD of NINE - A really strong IRON ROBOT.. I would say..
