A variety of Kerria used as a garden tree.

It is a deciduous broad-leaved tree growing in the lower central region of Korea and is also distributed in Japan and China.

Kerria japonica, at first glance, might be a kind of Japanese apricot flower, but it is very different.

In April, yellow flowers bloom enormously and show a beautiful appearance, but the shape of the flower is completely different from the Japanese apricot flower.

Several stems emerge from one root of the ground and grow in clusters.

The green stem is thin and long, grows well enough to cross the fence, and each small branch blooms as a beautiful, ball-shaped double flower.

The flowers are beautiful, but they are not fruitful.
