I think everyone had at least once in their life dry cough. For me it was quite long time ago. Maybe the time when I was in University where we had many students, we also were in lecture rooms, library that is why it was easy to catch up some viral infection without temperature and being really unwell. Since my childhood I have hay fever, which is allergy to pollution, I do not know exactly to that type of but usually it starts in May and finishes sometimes end of July. Since I am grown up the episodes of such cough and allergy is getting better and bad episodes much less.
My home remedies are few and they are always at home:
honey, I use Manuka honey that is product of New Zealand. This type of honey has special biological active substances that activate our immune system. I usually put only a tea spoon of it into my tea and it is done once a day
strepsils something I find very helpful, because after recurrent cough I have very tickly throat and strepsils calm my throat down
often when those simple measurement do not help or I want to have a calm night sleep I use this syrup against tickly cough
sometimes if I have lemon then lemon tea is another home remedy again such dry cough
Another remedy and that is a real win for the whole family is a portable Nebuliser “Pari boy” that is there to use normal saline that is with the help of the equipment turns into fine fog of salty water and with I can inhale it through the either mouth piece or sometimes if my nose is also blocked I use the mask so that salty water is breathed into through both nose and mouth. The equipment is a great help to get over the acute cough attack quickly and I noticed significant improvement.
Usually cough lasts about 5-7 days getting day by day better, I start usually all my helpful stuff only after day 3 when I feel that cough is not going to settle. With the nebuliser I never had long lasting cough and since then I have never visited any doctor for that.
My allergy to some pollen, I am still not really sure what exactly and when I wanted to investigate my GP told that it does not matter and it is not too heavy, just to keep an eye and use anti-histamine during the period of time. I must say that only once I had episode of asthma when I was outside in park in summer and we were going along the river with high grasses, next moment I noticed that I started to feel difficulties to breath. Every breath was difficult and breathing out wheezy. At that moment I realised that was my allergy and rushed home, luckily I was close to my home and once I arrived I had to use nebuliser. Just couple of minutes later my breathing improved. Since then I try to avoid such places with a lot of pollen in spring the time when there are much pollen in air.
I would like to invite following users @dequeen, @memamun, @sitaraindaryas for the contest.

Ma'am, thank you so much for keeping me in your post and inviting me to participate in the contest.
Dry cough is mainly human. Many times for this dry cough, many people can not speak properly, can not give speech. But it is good to know that you like to drink tea with honey and lemon juice which is very effective. I myself drink tea almost every day with pure honey and lemon juice in our country. Sir, I get a lot of benefits physically and physically.
Thank you again for inviting me to participate. I wish you all the best for this contest.
