When you become an adult, you need to become more thoughtful about what your hobbies are. It's more logical to choose a hobby at helps you in one way or the other. And not a hobby that just takes your time and energies without giving you nothing in return.

When many wealthy men talk, you'll hear them talking about playing golf, playing chess, or playing snooker, or monopoly. These are hobbies that you can learn a lot about life and business from. Because these hobbies resemble real life in more ways than one.

But unfortunately, there are many adults who still engage in hobbies that are much more for kids. Take for example, an adult of about 40 years of age, still playing soccer very seriously. As you can imagine - that sport is too physical for such an age.

At least, watching a soccer game may be more helpful as a hobby, than to get physically involved. There are many businessmen who sustained severe physical injuries from such hobbies or sports - such as fracturing a bone, or breaking a hand; and other physical harm.

But take for example, a sport like golf or chess, or playing snooker. These sports or hobbies can make you become more competitive as a person; which you can translate into your business. And these hobbies tends to increase your ability to concentrate - because to win in those hobbies you need to be mentally focused.
