Weekly Contest, "Playing photographer #8. Chairs, Stools and/or Tables - Philosophy of tables and chairs.

Hi all!

I have long noticed a strange thing: the simpler you set a task for yourself the more difficult it is sometimes to complete it

Today was proof of that.

What could be easier than taking and publishing photos of a chair stool and table?

It may seem so.

But if you blindly follow your desire, then this is really easy to do especially since I am now sitting in the kitchen at the table on a chair and there is a stool next to it but this was not very interesting to me I mean the opportunity to photograph pieces of furniture without any extraneous thoughts.

And if you look at it a chair a stool and a table are philosophical concepts one might say subtle matter lol.

As the old saying goes when it comes to a simple task it's as simple as a stool.

This is an erroneous comparison, because if you have few skills in carpentry it will be difficult to call what you make a stool and a high-quality stool requires special skills.

I wonder what came first the chair or the stool?

As you know at the moment when people chose someone as their ruler or he declared himself such he needed a throne a huge chair with a back so that he could sit on it and order his servants who sat quietly and obediently on the stone floor.

But later the servants decided to cheat and came up with a throne without a back which allowed on the one hand not to fall under the wrath of the ruler who could regard this as an encroachment on the throne but on the other hand the servants could lead those servants from some elevation who continued to sit on the stone floor and obediently follow the instructions of both the ruler and that part of the servants who were already sitting on a stool at some elevation.

Somewhere between the first and second events I mean the appearance of chairs and stools tables appeared at which one could sit on these pieces of furniture communicate dine and hold all sorts of events with an abundance of food.

Before the advent of chairs and stools there was no need for tables they served as any horizontal surfaces on which plates of food and bottles of drinks could be placed.

And today there are followers of those distant times and they continue to use any surface as a table.
