Marado is a lonely floating island in the southernmost sea of Jeju Island, an international city located in the southernmost part of Korea. The sea of Marado is full of strange beauty that is hard to express in writing.

It is an island made up of black basalt. When you climb up the table-like island, you will see a flat land full of reeds and grass. Some scholars interpret the table that Jehovah prepared for David in Psalm 23 of the Bible as this.

It is a small island, but it has a lighthouse, a cathedral, a temple, and several restaurants for tourists.

The southern coast of Marado Island is the only place in Korea with a direct view of the Pacific Ocean.

The large sea that spreads out without going through is unfamiliar to us and is so beautiful.
Far from land, the island is surprisingly famous for its spicy seafood noodles, "Jjamppong."
Haenyeo diligently pick clams and anglers fish.
