DIY: how to restore the loop for curtain chain

Hello my dear Steemians,

Today is Saturday, the morning started slow and lazy after my two busy week I just want to do nothing much and just try to enjoy the day. Luckily the weather is really nice and it is +13C, with some sun it is like in real spring. We went for a long walk along the water front, it is quite quit no waves and calm water.

Back home I was back to some maintenance work and one of that is to repair our curtain. The curtain has a mechanism that while pulling on string-chain it will fold the curtain. Those string are attached with a little hook to the bottom of curtain and one of those hooks is torn so it needed to be repaired. I will show how it is looking like.

This is a hook that needed to be restrored.

Here I decided to created a new hook, while using crochet needle and doing the chain, hten I sutured it to both side of the previous hoo.

This is the final result, the hook is there and it seems to hold well, once it finished it was hang up on window and looks like on the first image.
