We watched a movie last night called Ice Road on Netflix. Just about 10 minutes into it, I knew it was going to be a mail biter of a movie! We needed to stop about an hour into it to do a couple of things on the blockchain. We decided to continue watching afterwards. Mike looked at me and said we would watch just 10 minutes and go to bed. I just looked at him and rolled my eyes because I knew THAT was NOT going to work! Of course I was right and we finished the movie. Turns out the ice road is a real thing. I won’t spoil it for you but if you like nail biting action/adventure movies-this one’s for you! 😎👍
Consequently, I could barely drag myself out of bed this morning as we were up way too late! The whole day has felt as though I’m hung over without the benefit of alcohol.
I needed to run the coffee we roasted to the post office and go back to the library to get the DVD I had placed on hold. It was a beautiful partly sunny day with temperatures right around 70-72 degrees and lower humidity than we’ve been having. If only all summer could be this way……..
We headed out for a hike and Jan came with us. This was a tougher than normal hike for me because of my state of tiredness.
I was glad to get home. I fixed a coffee for us; watered the garden and now short of dinner, blogging, tv and getting my stuff together for work tomorrow, I am indeed done!
@actifit-lamb hasn’t gotten out much this week. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not handling the heat well this year and can you imagine adding 8 woolly lambs to that mix?! I pick my battles, lol. She’s patiently waiting for fall and is planning each hike itinerary. Such an organized little lamb, she is!
